Text from Street Road: ‘Unboxing, a project by Arts Territory Exchange, is a collection of artworks in a box that travels amongst a network of artists, archivists and alternative art spaces in Europe and North America, through a variety of (sometimes challenging) postal situations. At each site, the act of opening, of discovery, of unboxing, is in focus, and is different every time. For the Street Road iteration we invite you, our audience, to collectively unbox and reveal: each participant should choose one item, open, and decide how it should be displayed. Join us this Saturday, or during regular open hours through October to participate. Virtual unboxings by video link are very much welcomed - email us with interest.’
